Nearly 46 million people had mental illness in 2011, but 14 million of them received no treatment for their illness, according to National Survey on Drug Use and Health, an annual survey released by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The same survey in 2013 tells us that more than 22.7 million people cope with substance dependence or use, but fewer than 2.5 million received treatment for the disorder.
Through the involvement of Peer Recovery Specialists and the use of an intentional learning environment, REN offers an engaged Member experience. Our services are designed to help Members navigate the healthcare system and learn to live safely on their own in society.
SAMHSA requires clinics to provide prevention services, reduce costs and deliver outcomes. REN offers services that help clinics (which we call Partners) meet these requirements. We are proud to be part of our Members journey to wellness.
